How to invite people to Google Plus?

Google just launched its new service: Google Plus (Google+). Right now it’s invite-only and a lot of you may be wanting an invite or looking for ways to invite your friends. So here you go.
Method 1:
  1. Create a post.
  2. Now add the visibility for that post by typing in email addresses or by adding circles.
  3. Hit share.
Method 2:
  1. Create a new circle. Add people to that circle by dropping them in from the 'find and invite' option.
  2. Add an album.
  3. Share that album with all the people in that circle.
People in that circle will receive an invite via album sharing request.
Its been said that Google Plus invites are rate limited by hour. So if they can’t click through that first time, they can try again later with same link. (You don’t need to resend it)

UPDATE 1:

Many of you would be getting an error "We've temporarily exceeded our capacity. Please try again soon."

Don't worry. You can try again through the same link some time later. It's probably because of invites rate limited by hour.

UPDATE 2:

Google just announced that they have closed any more invites for the night.

UPDATE 3:

To invite friends, you can simply forward your invite mail (the one you received to get yourself invited) to your friend who you want to invite. - ( Shared by @laughing_candle on twitter )

Flying with kites

As soon as he would come home from school, he would run to the roof, in broad daylight with summers at their peak. Nothing would stop him, neither his mother’s scolding nor the heat. His favourite time of the day was when he was flying kites, for he had immense belief in them. He knew how taking his kite to the top would let him get his most peaceful sleep, for the satisfaction of reaching the top was the sweet reward. Each day had a new target. Each day had a new high.
Then while one day he was on the roof of his house, he saw a kite falling in front of his house. He rushed down the stairs to get the kite. Just as he reached down, he saw a bunch of kids, just like him, waiting for the kite to come down. Each of them, as ready as he was. Just as the kite was within the reach, it was snatched by almost all of them.

Poor kite! The kite being inanimate and lifeless, submitted to its fall. It was torn mercilessly. The sound of its death was really disturbing. But the kite did once soar high, really high. Once upon in its life, it did reach the horizon. Maybe that was it. Some things reach the top, but eventually someone pulls you down. Sometimes by will, sometimes by reason. Like each day has a night succeeding it, there can’t be light always unless you keep moving along with the light.

But did those kids learn anything. Will next time they would let the first one to get hold of the kite go away peacefully? I doubt. It is a sheer human tendency to desire what’s not meant for them. But snatching the desired when its not meant for you makes the desired useless for you. It becomes futile. Power is one example.

IDK-I

That was a long break. Reason, exams! Quite presumably. A lot happened. Mostly bad. Past two months weren’t the best. Infact maybe the worst. Though one thing I learnt, to hold my shit together. Not the best of the posts to write or read, but I would say, this one maybe marks the turn of events. After the aftermath of some f’ed up personal shit going on, I learnt a lot of things.

First one. Apathy Kills. Yeah you can’t be indifferent to every situation. You have to react. Sometimes that indifference is considered to be deficiency of love which is absolutely not true. Love, it was there. It was all there, infact in excess. What came of it, nothing! The suppression of emotions which is done to avoid f’in with the situation gets us nothing. Instead, all it does to you is shows that you’re weak, weak to react. You’ve to learn to react. Obviously in a positive way. But what I mean is reaction is important.

Second. Its good to forgive and not to forsake and forget. A move on is what you need when you have been stuck onto something, for like forever and obviously that thing wont let you be yourself, your best self. Obviously when you have given such a sizeable amount of your life into something, its not a very good idea to forget all of it, but believe me, let bygones be bygones. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, this movie makes us all realize that it is only through the process of loss that we discover what we had to begin with. But forgiveness is a virtue which many don’t possess. Its not easy to forgive, but if you believe in the theory that what goes around comes around, you might as well understand that whether you forgive or not, it doesn’t make a difference. Because its God who will take care of everything. Yes, God it comes from my mouth after all this happened.

Because third thing I realized is never to lose the faith. Faith is what keeps you going when you’re down. If you believe, you live. We all wish to see our dreams coming true, but life is hard for a dreamer. I am a believer now.

Elements

This is something I found out while I was just going through some random sites. Wish I had found this in my school days when I was busy preparing for JEE. Chemistry can be so fun. And more importantly I wouldn't have had screwed myself so badly that I had to end up in Kharagpur so far from my home. Anyways no point being sad now. Enjoy it. Cheers!

P.S. This was done in 1955. How cool is that!

The Existence

Is our life, our existence, nothing but a random event, like the tide in the ocean, the leaf blowing in the wind, the ripple in the stream? And if there is a meaning to all of it, a purpose superimposed to our lives, is there a revolutionary spirit or a mysterious power that imbues our life with such a purpose? And if there is no such thing, why do humans take shelter for their deeds in destiny? A person believing a phase of his life to be his full life, comes to know or better, realize that it was just a phase, shouldn’t he feel wonderful that it was just a phase and there is a lot of life (as in amount of time in life, even though I believe that time in life can’t be quantitatively measured) is left? Or should he feel upset that what he considered to be his destined life, is not there anymore, instead it’s just a phase? But how does the fact that it is just a phase, with that obscure power existing (believing so), manifest itself? And even if it is obvious to us that there is a lot more to life, does knowing this fact makes life worthwhile?

I read somewhere that a futile search for an elusive meaning prevents us from correctly aligning ourselves with Objective Reality. It will frustrate our ability to achieve the only real success in life, that is, Optimal, lasting happiness. But how do we know that there is more to come? Or that the optimal level has not already been achieved? For sure, we can’t know that. For that we have to believe that the obscure power does exist and it’s going to continue giving a purpose to our lives.

The Encrypted Life

I know one thing, that in life, you don’t always get what you want. You might be lucky or unlucky. But if you do not get the only thing you ever wanted, then in all possibility you are not one of God’s favourite or maybe God hates you. Actually no, God hates no one. You are just jinxed. Guess being jinxed has nothing to do with God. It’s all in the mind. The mind being delusional, must not agree to anything and everything however strong and reassuring that be, since sometimes heart leads the way. It understands everything when the mind fails to do so. But wasn’t the heart just made for the purpose of purification of our blood or was that our thoughts. I guess, no, I think the thoughts we have or more aptly we generate are related to the blood that’s flowing through our system. If it’s pure, then the thoughts are good. By good I mean that thoughts are healthy for us because we are healthy. Pure blood is equal to good health. But what if the blood isn’t pure, does that makes us sinful? Makes us commit sinner things. No. Then why do they say it’s all in the mind. It’s not about us or the mind anyway, because if it was about us then why would God discriminate between people. I use the word discriminate because not everyone is happy. So is our happiness in the hands of God, or is it just that we believe so because we don’t want to take responsibility of our actions, our deeds. Is God making us do all that? Or is it just us? Has the plan for our lives been already laid out? Or are we writing it just at present? I don’t know! If someone knew, wouldn’t they be the God? Guess life’s too complicated. Or God has just encrypted it into some code waiting for us to decipher it. That’s our encrypted lives!
